Join the yellow team as our new Voice Core Engineering & Delivery Senior Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and delivery of Voice Core solutions aligned with telecom industry standards and customer requirements;
• Participate in the integration, deployment, expansion and optimization of Voice Core systems across multiple environments;
• Work with Voice Core technologies such as IMS, CS Core and 5G Core network elements;
• Execute and coordinate integration and acceptance testing for new software releases and platform evolutions;
• Contribute to low-level design documentation, implementation guidelines and technical specifications;
• Support end-to-end project delivery, including planning, technical coordination, risk management and reporting;
• Collaborate with architecture, operations, vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and service quality;
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and new team members;
• Support operational teams through Work Orders, troubleshooting activities and technical documentation.

**Requirements:
MUST HAVE:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Voice Core Engineering, Telecom Core Networks or similar roles;
• Strong knowledge of CS Core, IMS and 5G Voice Core architectures based on 3GPP standards;
• Experience with telecom protocols and signaling technologies such as SIP, Diameter, SS7 and MAP;
• Good understanding of complementary technologies including HTTP2, REST, SOAP, JSON, TLS and SQL;
• Experience in system integration, testing, deployment and optimization within telecom environments;
• Experience working on multi-vendor and multi-market telecom projects;
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly within international teams;
• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electronics or similar;
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with MSS/MGW, STP, DRA, HSS, HLR, SBC, CSCF, TAS, UDR, AUSF, UDM and IBCF;
• Knowledge of cloud ecosystems, IP networking and telecom infrastructure interoperability;
• Experience with operational support and change management processes;
• Experience mentoring or leading technical teams;
• Familiarity with Vodafone global architecture environments or large-scale telecom operators.

Important information:

• Hybrid work model in Lisbon;
• Collaboration with international Vodafone Operating Companies;
• Candidates must reside in Portugal.
