Senior Salesforce Developer – Apex & Integrations

Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As a Senior Salesforce Developer – Apex & Integrations,. You’ll join the Salesforce Factory team—a transversal group of BA, DEV, and QA—responsible for delivering new features and supporting Salesforce tooling.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of custom applications on the Salesforce platform to meet business needs.

• Architect and implement complex Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning components.

• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and analysts.

• Mentor and coach junior developers while performing code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and deliver effective solutions.

• Develop and implement best practices for Salesforce development, integrations, and deployment processes.

• Troubleshoot and debug Salesforce application issues, ensuring robust and reliable production operations.

• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems (including third-party APIs), and write unit/integration tests.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 6 years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform.

• Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs, web services, and/or middleware.

• Knowledge of Salesforce security and data modeling concepts.

• Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II or Technical Architect.

• Experience leading teams and providing technical leadership.
