Senior QA Analyst – Banking & Financial Services

As a Senior QA Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking and financial services industry, part of a major French banking group. You will contribute to testing efforts for the Bancarisation and Epargne platform within the BPCE SI Team, ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality financial solutions that serve millions of customers. Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and technical specifications
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts using Jira Xray
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to uphold high software quality standards
• Identify, document, and track defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Provide clear reports on testing progress, results, and quality issues to stakeholders
• Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve overall product quality

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 6 years of proven experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices in financial software environments
• Proficiency in Jira Xray for test management and defect tracking
• Experience with Jira and Confluence tools
• Fluent in both spoken and written French (B2 level); English proficiency is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB)
• Additional language skills or experience in banking software testing

Language required for the role:

• Fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
