Senior Business Analyst – Financial Risk & PnL Systems

As a Senior Business Analyst on our client's PnL platform, you will join the PnL team within the Risk department — the system responsible for loading, certifying, and publishing the bank's Profit & Loss figures, a core profitability KPI. You'll work alongside Business Analysts and Developers across Paris and Porto, collaborating closely with international IT teams and business users.

Your main responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document user requirements and functional specifications
• Design, document, and maintain system processes
• Conduct quality assurance by defining and executing test cases
• Own relationships with internal clients to optimize and develop new features
• Coordinate across teams to anticipate dependencies and remove blockers
• Act as the business knowledge reference for the development team — bridging communication and proactively chasing answers when needed
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment

You're ideal if you have:

• 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar position
• Academic or professional background in Economics, Finance, Market Data, or Risk Management
• Methodical, detail-oriented approach with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• A customer-oriented mindset, comfortable in a multicultural environment
• Basic knowledge of SQL

Nice to have (not required):

• Prior experience on IT projects within financial institutions
• Proficiency in French

Language:

• Fluent English (minimum B2 level)
