Your contribution to something big:
Develop and validate advanced assembly processes and innovative manufacturing technologies alongside internal and external partners.
Support the industrialization phase and mass production ramp-up by evaluating process requirements, line readiness, and process robustness on the shop floor.
Analyze product requirements holistically, ensuring that mechanical product designs are fully optimized to meet manufacturing and assembly constraints.
Lead and coordinate comprehensive Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) reviews to guarantee a seamless transition from prototype to mass production.
Coordinate technical alignment between development departments and manufacturing partners worldwide.
What distinguishes you:
Education
University degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Automation, or related technical discipline
Experience and Know-how
Industry Experience: More than 5 years of proven professional experience in mechanical design, process development, automation, or industrialization.
Manufacturing Technologies: Strong knowledge of diverse mechanical assembly processes, such as plastic injection molding, welding, gluing, taping, and automated assembly systems.
3D Design & Tolerancing: Solid experience in 3D CAD modeling and technical drawing creation, with advanced knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Practical experience with PTC CREO is highly preferred.
Partner Coordination: Demonstrated experience coordinating development, tooling, and manufacturing partners.
Domain Expertise: Prior experience or interest in consumer electronics, outdoor hardware products, smart displays, ECUs, or IoT devices, is considered a plus.
Languages
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
