Your contribution to something big:
- Drive the industrialization of automated test and manufacturing systems for automotive products, designing and integrating end-to-end automation solutions including PLCs, robotics, machine vision, sensors, actuators, and HMIs;
- Define hardware, electrical, mechanical, and software architectures for new production equipment and test stations, ensuring compliance with project, quality, and automotive industry requirements;
- Manage the technical coordination of suppliers throughout the development, construction, validation, and acceptance of manufacturing and test equipment;
- Support the installation, commissioning, ramp-up, and optimization of new production lines, both locally and internationally, ensuring stable and efficient operations;
- Develop and enhance automation concepts, machine programs, and vision inspection systems to improve product quality, traceability, productivity, and manufacturing performance;
- Plan and execute machine validation, process qualification, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities, ensuring robust and reliable production processes;
- Monitor manufacturing performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging Industry 4.0, digitalization, and automation technologies;
- Create and maintain technical documentation while providing technical support for prototype, sample, and series production activities.
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
Experience
- Experience in industrial automation, machine development, testing systems is a strong advantage;
Know-how
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Beckhoff);
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC-UA, Modbus, etc.);
- Good understanding of electrical control systems, sensors, actuators, safety circuits, and machine control architectures;
- Experience with machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Halcon, or equivalent);
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, servo drives, and automation equipment;
- Familiarity with test equipment, traceability systems, and MES integration is an advantage;
- Knowledge of process validation and measurement capability studies is desirable.
Languages
- Fluent English skills. German is a plus.
