We are developing innovative approaches for the precise assessment of motor symptoms in movement disorder diseases with an initial focus on Parkinson's Disease.

Role description

inSignals Neurotech is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (3+ years of professional experience, ideally in the healthcare industry) to design, develop, and maintain the frontend and backend components of our application and digital platform, while also supporting the integration of our algorithms and AI models into a smartwatch platform. Ideally, the candidate will have previous experience in the healthcare sector and/or startup company, and an interest in working for an innovative startup.

Skills we look for

• Frontend development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React or Angular)
• Backend development: Node, Python (Django/Flask), or Java (Spring Boot)
• Database management: SQL (relational) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB)
• API development: designing and building RESTful APIs
• Version control: Git and collaborative development workflows
• Sensitivity to good UX design practices is a plus
• Experience with embedded systems or wearable devices is a plus

Other information

This is a hybrid position based in Porto, Portugal. While flexible working arrangements are available, candidates must be currently based in the North of Portugal.
