We are looking for a Engineering Manager to integrate a hybrid project in Lisbon.

Salary range: 49 450,00€ - 49 900,00€ annual gross.

Profile:
- 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, QA Engineering or a similar technical role;
- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing engineering teams;
- Strong background combining people management with technical leadership;
- Experience driving software delivery and engineering excellence;
- Strong understanding of software quality, maintainability, testability and operational excellence;
- Experience working closely with Product Owners, Agile Leads and business stakeholders;
- Ability to translate business priorities into realistic and sustainable delivery plans;
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Passion for building collaborative, empowered and high-performing engineering teams;
- Excellent written and spoken English;
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.

Responsibilities:
- Own delivery execution and ensure alignment with the technology roadmap;
- Drive sustainable, predictable and high-quality software delivery;
- Act as line manager for engineers, providing coaching, feedback, staffing and performance management;
- Bring engineering best practices and technical direction into the team;
- Promote engineering quality, maintainability and operational excellence;
- Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to align delivery with business priorities;
- Act as the technical counterpart to the Product Owner within the team;
- Support the implementation of the technology strategy, standardization and continuous improvement initiatives;
- Foster a collaborative, accountable and continuous improvement engineering culture;
- Participate actively in the day-to-day activities of Agile product teams.
