DevOps Engineer

IT House is looking for a DevOps Engineer for a direct placement with an end client in the Telecommunications & Communications Engineering sector, located in Aveiro.

Main Responsibilities

• Operate and scale self-hosted Kubernetes environments, focusing on high availability and performance tuning;
• Define and enforce access control policies (RBAC) and manage network traffic through modern Gateway API routing;
• Build and maintain custom Kubernetes Operators in Golang to automate infrastructure processes;
• Automate server provisioning and configuration (physical and virtual) using Ansible;
• Guarantee the stability and reliability of critical systems, databases and internal development tools;
• Promote GitOps practices and declarative infrastructure management across the team.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field;
• At leat 2 years of experience in similar roles;
• Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture (networking, security, routing);
• Experience with Ansible for Linux configuration management;
• Familiarity with GitOps and declarative infrastructure principles.
