Porto-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client within the Corporate & Investment Banking sector, focusing on enhancing financial systems related to market products like fixed income and derivatives securities. Your expertise will support the development, testing, and support of critical financial solutions, contributing to shaping innovative financial workflows and client solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with users and project managers to analyze business requirements and continuously improve the system.
• Perform comprehensive business analysis for various projects, ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Write detailed functional specifications based on user requirements to guide development teams.
• Conduct testing to validate functionality and usability, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Provide functional support to users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Over 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, particularly in markets and derivatives.
• Strong knowledge of financial products, including fixed income and derivatives securities.
• Experience in back-office or front-office environments within the financial industry.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Jira, SQL, and Confluence; familiarity with Xray is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; French language skills would be a plus.
• A methodical, detail-oriented approach to testing combined with strong analytical skills.
• Willingness to collaborate within a team and eagerness to broaden financial and technical knowledge.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Experience with Xray or similar testing tools.
• Additional certifications in business analysis or financial markets.

Language Required for the role:
Good command of English (fluent).
