BIM Consultant

Job Description: 

 

We are looking for a BIM Consultant to support the implementation and scaling of BIM methodologies across engineering and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive digital transformation through advanced modeling, coordination, and data-driven project delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement BIM strategies across infrastructure and engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project lifecycle phases (design, construction, operations)
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and models (Civil, Architecture, MEP), aligning deliverables and ensuring effective collaboration across disciplines
• Develop, maintain and oversee high-quality 3D BIM models for infrastructure projects (roads, railways, energy, ports, airports)
• Perform clash detection and ensure model quality, consistency, and compliance with BIM standards and information requirements
• Develop, manage and validate BIM documentation and data structures (EIR, BEP, LOD, standards), ensuring governance and compliance
• Support BIM governance and contribute to BIM Management Office (BMO) activities, including processes and best practices
• Collaborate in ACC or similar environments to enhance project coordination and data sharing
• Support proposal development, bidding processes, and delivery of BIM-related client outputs
• Drive automation, reporting and data analysis initiatives using tools such as Dynamo or Power BI
• Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery

 

Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field; BIM specialization is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in BIM projects, ideally within infrastructure or engineering environments
• Strong experience in BIM coordination, multidisciplinary collaboration (Civil, Architecture, MEP) and infrastructure modelling
• Proficiency in BIM tools: Revit, Civil 3D and Navisworks
• Solid understanding of BIM standards and information management (EIR, BEP, LOD)
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), AutoCAD or automation/data tools (Dynamo, Power BI) is a plus
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory; Spanish is a plus
• Strong leadership and coordination skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
